Adventure Tourism
Caves: The numerous natural caves all over Meghalaya are a special attraction for tourists. A few of them are even the longest in the Indian Sub-continent.
Trekking: Trekking in this state is unique in the sense that terrain is very rugged like in Meghalaya but with the advantage of not being snowbound. An added attraction is the possibility of encountering many rare animals such as the slow loris, assorted deer and the occasional bear.
